Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom has passed away at the age of 96. Since October of the previous year, the Queen had been dealing with a variety of health issues, which made it difficult for her to move and stand for long periods of time. After the passing of the Queen of Great Britain, Prince Charles will succeed to the throne as King Charles I, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will succeed to the throne as Queen Camilla. A period of ten days of national mourning has been announced in her honor. The funeral of the Queen will be conducted as part of a special operation that will take place on London Bridge.
